Welcome to our adventure!
Since 2011 , in the Azores, Rope Adventures has been leading the way in turning moments into unique, adrenaline-filled experiences – all with the safety you deserve.

Here, every jump in coasteering , every descent in canyoning , every paddle stroke in stand-up paddleboarding , and every wave surfed carries the special touch of our passionate and highly certified team. For those who love to venture even deeper (literally), we also offer caving, exploring the most intense caves on Terceira Island.

Our mission? To provide exclusive and safe adventure experiences, promoting a connection with nature, personal growth, and the awakening of genuine emotions, through customized activities in less-explored locations, all while valuing environmental preservation.

Emanuel Raimundo

Emanuel Raimundo was born on Terceira Island and is passionate about adventures and challenges. Founder and CEO of Rope Adventures, he has dedicated himself to the world of canyoning and coasteering, specializing in different areas of these activities.

With training in canyoning from the French Federation of Speleology and the Desnível - Adventure Sports Association, Emanuel has extensive experience in the field and is also certified as a coasteering guide by the British Rock and Water Association (BRAWA) and as a surf coach certified by the IPDJ.

In addition, he has been working as a canyoning instructor at the University of the Azores for 10 years and has more than 20 years of experience in paintball fields. With training in first aid for adventure sports and mountaineering, he prioritizes the safety and well-being of his clients in all his activities.

With training and certifications from several countries, including France, the United Kingdom, and Portugal, Emanuel Raimundo is a qualified and prepared professional, ready to provide incredible and unforgettable experiences to adventure tourism enthusiasts.
